Ascent in Kamansuu valley and Korzhenevskogo Glacier areas

Season: July – September

Scheme of program:

Day 1 Arrival in Bishkek. Meeting at the airport in Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel 3*. Last preperation for the expedition. Accommodation in the hotel 3*.

Day 2 Early transfer by cross country vehicle Kamaz, 6 WD to Jala-Abad (576 km, 11-12 hours). Full Board. Overnight in Tent Camp.

Day 3 Transfer to Kamansuu valley / Korzhenevskogo glacier area via Kashaksuu village via Osh (450 km, 9-10 hours). Overnight in tent camp.

Days 4-18 Acclimatization. Climbing period - 14 days

Day 19 Transfer from Kamansuu valley / Korzhenevskogo glacier area to Jalal-Abad (450 km, 9-10 hour)

Day 20 Transfer to Bishkek via Toktogul reservoir (576 km, 11-12 hours). Accommodation in the hotel 3*

Day 21 Reserve day in Bishkek. Accommodation in the hotel 3*.

Day 22 Departure from Osh.

Service included in the program:

• Airport transfers in Bishkek by minibus, 14-18 seats
• Transportation by cross country vehicle – Kamaz, 6 WD
• Accommodation:

in Bishkek: Alpinist hotel 3* or equal level – 4 nights in twin rooms including early check-in

in Jalal-Abad: Home stay including breakfast (shared bathroom and outdoor WC) – 2 nights

in the Base Camp: tents on double sharing basis during expedition time

• Full Board as mentioned in the program
• Border permit
• All kitchen and dining utensils for ascent period
• Mess tent for ascent period
• Mountain Guide including salary, meals, gears and accommodation
• 2 Porters including salary, meals, gears, and accommodation
• Cook in Base Camp including salary, meals, gears, and accommodation

Conditions and notes:

1) Each porter carries 15 kg of commercial weigh up to 5200 m and 10 kg of commercial weight up to 6800m.

2) It is necessary to have personal mountaineering gear for ascents.
3) All climbers must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 15 000. We recommend insurance policies of USD 40 000 or more which cover emergency helicopter transportation.

List of equipment: Sleeping bag and sleeping mat, light down jacket, Polartec jacket and pants, windproof jacket and pants, woolen mittens and gloves, cover mittens, woolen hat and socks, UV protecting sun glasses and sun cream, double plastic boots and gaiters, crampons, ice axe, ski or telescopic poles, high altitude tent, rope, harness, prusik, 2-3 ice screws, ascender (jumar), descender, headlamp and reserve batteries, gas burner, thermo insulation flask (thermos) and mug.
