Paragliding in Kyrgyzstan

Season: May – September

Paragliding is relatively new adventure sport in Kyrgyzstan. Celestial mountains, medium high cloud bases, thermal activity of the country makes fulfilled experience for paragliders.

Chon-Tash is situated at the altitude of 1500 m and 30 km far from Bishkek. Difference of altitudes is 200 m.

Scheme of the program:

Day 1 International flight to Bishkek.

Day 2 Arrival in Bishkek. Free time. As option: city sightseeing tour with English speaking guide. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3 - 5 Morning transfer to Chon-Tash (30 km – 1 hour). Flights. Back transfer to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 International flight from Bishkek.

NB: Duration of programme can be changed.

Conditions and notes:

• It is necessary to have personal paragliding gear.
• gear can be posted to our Bishkek office in advance.
• All paragliders must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 20 000. We recommend insurance policies of USD 40 000 or more which cover emergency helicopter transportation.
