Day 1: Arrival at Bishkek City – Bishkek City in the Footsteps of the Soviet Union

We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Bishkek. After getting settled, we will enjoy an early dinner at a wonderful local restaurant.

We will then visit the central part of Bishkek city, including Victory Square, Ala-Too Square, and Oak Park, and see monuments dedicated to the heroes of the Kyrgyz people, such as Manas – the main character of the Kyrgyz national epic.

After exploring the city, we will head back to the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Suusamyr Valley

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our journey to the Suusamyr Valley in southern Kyrgyzstan. Suusamyr Valley is famous for its pastures, which are among the best in the whole country. We will spend the entire day in Suusamyr Valley, take pictures, and enjoy an outdoor picnic.

Day 3: One Day in a Typical Kyrgyz Village – Kochkor Felt Factory

Today, we will drive to Kochkor village in the central part of Kyrgyzstan. In the morning, we will visit the felt factory, where we will observe and assist in making traditional felt carpets. “Altyn Kol” felt factory is a local association of handicraft women in Kochkor. They produce handmade felt products, export them to foreign countries, and sell them in bazaars across Kyrgyzstan.

Day 4: Overnight at Yurt Camp at Alpine Lake (3000 m) – Son Kul Lake

After breakfast, we will travel to Son Kul Lake through Kalmak Ashu Pass. On the way, we will have the opportunity to see herds of yaks and take pictures. We will arrive at our yurt camp on the south shore of Son Kul Lake and have lunch. Later, we will enjoy demonstrations of traditional horse games such as “Kyz Kuumai,” “Er Enish,” and “Ulak Tartysh.”

Day 5: Mels Ashu Pass, Silk Road Heritage – Tash Rabat Caravanserai

Today, we will cross two spectacular mountain passes: Moldo Ashu Pass and Mels Ashu Pass. After breakfast, we will ascend Moldo-Ashu Pass (3,225 m), descend into the Ak-Tala Valley, and enjoy a picnic in nature. We will pass Baetovo village and continue to Mels Pass (3,420 m).

We will then reach the ancient Silk Road heritage site, Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Here, we will explore the fascinating history of this ancient Silk Road inn.

Day 6: Explore the Magical Kel Suu Lake

Early in the morning, we will drive to Kok Kiya village near Kel Suu Lake. Upon arrival, we will take lunch boxes and begin horse riding to Kel Suu Lake, located 7 km from our yurt camp, where we will stay overnight. We will explore the lake, enjoy an outdoor picnic lunch, and return to our yurt camp in the evening.

Day 7: Kel Suu Lake – Naryn City

Today, we will drive to Naryn City, the administrative capital of the Naryn region. We will stay overnight at a hotel and prepare for tomorrow’s long journey through the Tosor Pass.

Day 8: Naryn City – Eki Naryn – Tosor Pass – Tamga Village

After breakfast, we head east and drive along the Eki-Naryn Valley. After crossing beautiful mountain passes, we reach the Jylu-Suu Valley, where we will have a picnic near the river.

We continue driving through the mountains and cross the remarkable Tosor Pass (4,000 m). From there, we descend to a beautiful valley and continue toward Issyk-Kul Lake, the second-largest alpine lake in the world. We will reach Tamga village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Day 9: Skazka Canyon, Tuz Kol (Salt Lake), Nomadic Yurt Assembly, Eagle Hunting

Today, we will spend time on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. We will visit Skazka Canyon and, if possible, witness a traditional eagle hunting demonstration. If not, we will proceed to Kyzyl Tuu village for lunch.

We will then assist a local family in assembling a nomadic yurt from scratch. Kyzyl Tuu is known as the homeland of yurt-making. Every family here produces handmade yurt components using traditional ancestral techniques and exports them worldwide.

After lunch, we will say goodbye to our hosts and continue to Tuz Kol. Here, we can swim, enjoy natural mud spa therapy, and also swim in Issyk-Kul Lake nearby before heading to our guesthouse in Kaji Sai.

Day 10: Jeti Oguz Valley, Kok Jayik Jailoo, “Broken Heart” Rock, Jeti Oguz Rocks, “Maiden Braid” Waterfall

Today, we will explore the beautiful Jeti Oguz Valley. We will hike to the “Maiden Braid” waterfall and relax at the yurt camp. We will also visit the “Broken Heart” rock formation and the famous Jeti Oguz rocks.

Day 11: Altyn Arashan Mineral Hot Springs – Soviet Track Adventure

We will descend to Karakol city and begin our Soviet track adventure. We will drive up to Altyn Arashan hot springs, have lunch at a yurt camp, enjoy a natural mineral bath, and return to Karakol.

On the way, we will stop at Ak-Suu Kench hot spring pool. In Karakol, we will have dinner with a Dungan family and enjoy a folklore concert by the local band “Kylym.”

Day 12: Cholpon Ata Beach, Cruising

Today, we will relax on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. We will swim in the lake, surrounded by the snowy mountain ranges of Kungoi Ala-Too and Teskei Ala-Too.

We will also enjoy a cruise (optional) and visit the Rukh Ordo Cultural Complex and the Petroglyphs Open-Air Museum.

Day 13: Rafting at Chon Kemin and Chu River – Burana Tower

After breakfast, we will drive to Boom Gorge and enjoy rafting on the Chon Kemin and Chu Rivers (optional). We will then visit a popular local dining spot, “Apamdyn Kattamasy,” to taste traditional bread “Kattama” and drink Kyrgyz tea “Samoor Chai.”

Later, we will visit Burana Tower on the way to Bishkek. In Bishkek, we will explore Osh Bazaar for souvenirs. In the evening, we will have a farewell dinner and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14: Transfer to the Airport

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
