3 - Days Son - Kul And Issyk - Kul Tour

DAY 1 – BISHKEK – BOKONBAEVO

08:00 On the first day of the 3-day Son-Kul and Issyk-Kul tour, we will depart from Bishkek and travel toward Bokonbaevo along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

13:00 On the way, we will stop in Kyzyl-Tuu Village, known as the “felt world,” where you will help assemble a traditional nomadic yurt with a local family and enjoy lunch with them.

15:00 After lunch, we will visit the Golden Eagle House in Bokonbaevo, followed by a visit to Skazka Canyon. The canyon is famous for its unique rock formations that resemble giant figures shaped by nature, as if guarding the land. If time permits, we will also enjoy a swim in Issyk-Kul Lake and spend some time at Kaji-Sai Beach.

Accommodation: Guesthouse in Kaji-Sai

DAY 2 – BOKONBAEVO – SON-KUL

09:00 After breakfast at the guesthouse, we will head toward Son-Kul Lake.

13:00 Upon arrival, the hosts at the yurt camp will welcome us with a tasting of the traditional drink kumys. We will spend the day exploring the area, walking along the lake, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There will also be an opportunity for horseback riding (must be arranged in advance), allowing you to experience the true spirit of nomadic life.

We will have lunch in traditional yurts and take a relaxing walk by the lake. In the evening, you can join the hosts in preparing the national bread “boorsok,” which will be served during dinner with kaymak.

DAY 3 – SON-KUL – BISHKEK

08:00 After breakfast at Son-Kul, we will depart and continue our journey back to Bishkek.

13:00 We will stop in Tokmok to enjoy a traditional lunch with a local Dungan family.

15:00 Visit the Burana Tower, a historic monument from the Karakhanid era near Tokmok. After exploring the site and its small museum, we will continue to Bishkek.

18:00 Arrival in Bishkek and transfer to your hotel.
