Package Itinerary

Day 1: Meeting at the Airport, Bishkek, Karakol

The tour starts in Bishkek city. Your tour guide will meet you at the airport. After breakfast in Bishkek, we will depart for Issyk-Kul Lake.

On the way, we will visit the Burana Tower, located in the ancient capital of the Karakhanid state that once stood on these lands.

We will continue to Bokonbaevo village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, where we will watch an eagle hunting demonstration and have lunch with a local family.

Then we will visit Skazka Canyon, where giant faces formed from sand after rain appear as if they are guarding the land. Afterwards, we will depart for Karakol city. In Karakol, we will have dinner with a local Dungan family.

Day 2: Altyn Arashan

Breakfast at the hotel.

Then we will start our tour to Altyn Arashan by Soviet-era truck. We will travel to Altyn Arashan Gorge, visit the natural mineral hot springs, and have lunch at a yurt camp in Altyn Arashan.

Afterwards, we will return to Karakol. On the way, in Ak-Suu, we will swim in a mineral hot spring pool. Upon arrival in Karakol, dinner with a local family.

Day 3: Sary-Jaz Valley

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart early in the morning in 4WD SUVs toward the Sary-Jaz Valley through Chon-Ashuu Pass (3,822 m), which offers breathtaking views from the top.

On the way, we will visit Enilchek, considered a lost city that attracts many tourists because of its mystery.

During Soviet times, there was a large factory producing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We will drive through Enilchek and visit an abandoned mine.

Lunch boxes will be provided for lunch.

Later, we will enjoy the Kara-Tash hot springs with hot radon water flowing beneath a high black rock. The spring is approximately 4 meters wide, 50 meters long, and 1.7–2 meters deep. The water temperature is around 55°C.

After that, we will drive back to Karakol city.

Day 4: Karakol, Kalmak Ashu Pass, Son Kul Lake

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Dungan Mosque, which was built in Chinese architectural style without using nails.

Then we will travel to Kochkor village along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Lunch will be served at a local guesthouse in Kochkor.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Son-Kul Lake at an altitude of 3,000 meters via Kalmak Ashu Pass. At the pass, we will have the opportunity to see yaks.

Upon arrival at Son Kul Lake, dinner at the yurt camp and free time.

Day 5: Son Kul Lake, Moldo Ashu Pass, Naryn, Kelsuu

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will leave the yurt camp and continue our journey to Kel-Suu Lake.

We will pass through Moldo Ashu Pass and Naryn city, as well as several villages known for their unique lifestyle and ancient tombstones. Moldo Ashu Pass is famous for its serpentine road.

In Naryn, we will have lunch at a local restaurant or guesthouse.

In the evening, we will arrive at Kok Kiya village for dinner and an overnight stay at the yurt camp.

Accommodation: Yurt Camp “Golden Moon” in Kok Kiya village near Kel-Suu Lake or similar (double accommodation, shared bathroom outside)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Kelsuu, Naryn

Breakfast at the guesthouse.

Early in the morning, we will begin exploring Kel-Suu Lake. We will ride horses up to the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery for about two hours.

Afterwards, we will return to the yurt camp for lunch. After lunch, transfer to Naryn.

Day 7: Naryn, Bishkek City, Ala Archa National Park

After breakfast, we will continue to Bishkek city.

On the way, in Kemin, we will have lunch at the popular local dining place “Apamdyn Kattamasy,” where we will taste the traditional bread “Kattama” and traditional tea called “Samoor Chai,” also known as “Kempir Chai.”

Upon arrival in Bishkek, we will visit Ala Archa National Park.

Later, we will arrange a farewell dinner at a local restaurant in Bishkek and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 8: Transfer to Airport

Early in the morning, you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for your flight home, carrying wonderful and lasting memories from your journey.
