Jeep Tour Kyrgyzstan

This jeep tour of Kyrgyzstan combines cultural experiences, local lifestyles, and visits to historical sites and museums. At your request, we can also arrange rafting on the Chu and Chon-Kemin rivers.

Day 1: Bishkek City Tour in the Footsteps of the Soviet Union

Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, we will enjoy an early dinner at a good local restaurant. Then, we will visit the central part of the city of Bishkek, including Victory Square, Ala-Too Square, and Oak Park. You will also see monuments dedicated to Kyrgyz heroes, such as Manas, the main character of the Kyrgyz national epic. After exploring the city, we return to the hotel.

Day 2: Dordoi Bazaar, Burana Tower, Rafting, Kochkor Village

We will start our jeep tour of Kyrgyzstan in the morning with a visit to Dordoi Bazaar, the largest open-air market in Central Asia, attracting traders from China, Turkey, Russia, and other Central Asian countries. We will then continue our journey to Kochkor village in the Naryn region. On the way to Tokmak, we will visit Burana Tower, a historical minaret from the Karakhanid state.

We will have lunch at the home of a local Dungan family, where you will get acquainted with their unique traditions. After that, we continue to the Chon-Kemin River for rafting. In the evening, upon arrival in Kochkor, we will visit a felt workshop run by a group of local women who produce traditional handmade felt items. Here, you will also have the opportunity to try making a felt carpet.

Day 3: Kalmak Ashu Pass, Son-Kul Lake

After breakfast, we continue our journey through scenic landscapes to Son-Kul Lake, the second-largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 3,016 meters. We will drive via Kalmak Ashu Pass, where you may see snow, grazing yaks on the jailoo, and high mountain flowers.

We will travel along the lakeshore, surrounded by shepherds, yurts, and herds of horses. Upon arrival at the yurt camp, you will be welcomed by the hosts, enjoy lunch, and take a short walk around the lake. Later, we return for dinner in a traditional dining yurt.

Day 4: Moldo Ashu Pass (33 Parrots), Naryn City

After breakfast at the yurt camp, we continue through Moldo-Ashu Pass at an altitude of 3,348 meters. This winding road, also known locally as "33 Parrots," offers breathtaking views of endless meadows.

We will descend to Naryn city, where the longest river in Kyrgyzstan flows. At sunset, the Tien Shan mountain range reveals its full beauty.

Day 5: Tosor Gorge, Issyk-Kul Lake, Tamga

After breakfast, we continue along the impressive Ala-Too mountain range, crossing the Eki-Naryn River and passing through Tosor Gorge at an altitude of 4,020 meters. Along the way, we will stop for lunch and enjoy views of glaciers, snow-covered peaks, and mountain lakes.

We then descend to the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, reaching Tamga village near the lakeshore.

Day 6: Jeti-Oguz Valley, Karakol

After breakfast, we visit Jeti-Oguz Valley on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, one of the largest alpine lakes in the world. On the way, we stop at Barskoon Gorge and hike to a beautiful waterfall.

We will also visit the famous "Broken Heart" rock formation and climb to see the "Maiden’s Braids" waterfall. Later, we arrive in Karakol for a city tour, including visits to the Dungan Mosque and the Holy Trinity Cathedral. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a local Uyghur family and experience traditional music performances.

Day 7: Altyn Arashan Hot Springs, Cholpon-Ata

Today, we travel by a Soviet-style vehicle to Altyn-Arashan Gorge. From there, we hike to the hot mineral springs and enjoy a scenic bathing experience.

After lunch in the area, we continue along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake toward Cholpon-Ata, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the way.

Day 8: Petroglyph Open-Air Museum, Bishkek

After breakfast, we visit the open-air petroglyph museum in Cholpon-Ata, where you can see ancient rock carvings and traces of Scythian and Hun civilizations.

Next, we visit the cultural center "Rukh-Ordo," where guides will provide an engaging tour filled with history and legends. In the evening, we return to Bishkek for a festive dinner at a traditional restaurant.

Day 9: Transfer to Airport

This marks the end of your jeep tour in Kyrgyzstan. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight, taking home unforgettable memories and experiences.
