Description

This Jeep tour Kyrgyzstan is combined with cultural programs, the life of local people, visits historical sites, museums. At your request, we also do rafting on the Chu and Chon-Kemin rivers.

Day 1 – Bishkek city tour in the footsteps of the Soviet union

Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, we will enjoy an early dinner at a good local restaurant. Then we will visit the central part of the city of Bishkek, Victory Square, Ala-Too Square, Oak Park and see the monuments to the heroes of the Kyrgyz people, such as Manas, the main character of the Kyrgyz national epic. After exploring the city, we return to the hotel.

Day 2 – Dordoi Bazaar, Burana tower, Rafting, Kochkor village

We will start our jeep tour of Kyrgyzstan in the morning with a visit to the Dordoi bazaar, the largest street market in Central Asia, which gathers traders from China, Turkey, Russia and Central Asian countries. Then we will continue our way to the village of Kochkor, Naryn region. On the way to the city of Tokmak, we will visit the Burana tower in the capital of the former Karakhanid state based on these lands.Lunch at the home of a local Dungan family, get acquainted with the unusual Dungan tradition, and continue the tour to Chon Kemin river for rafting. Close to evening hours upon arrival in Kochkor village, we will visit the felt factory, the organized group of local women that deals with handmade traditional felt products. There we will help masters to make felt carpet.

Day 3 – Kalmak Ashu Pass, Son Kul lake

After breakfast, continue the journey through the scenic region to Son-Kul Lake, the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, located at an altitude of 3016 m. We will drive to Son Kul lake through Kalmak Ashu Pass, where we will have the opportunity to touch snow, see yaks on the jailoo, and high mountain flowers on the fields. Travel along the shore of the lake among local shepherds, yurts, and herds of horses and shepherds, and arrive at a Yurt Camp – nomad tents. Upon arrival, we will be met by the hosts, have lunch in yurts and go for a short walk to the lake area. We will then come back for dinner in a specially equipped dining yurt.

Day 4 – Moldo Ashu Pass ( 33 parrots), Naryn city

After breakfast in the sleeping camp, we continue our way through the Moldo-Ashuu pass with a height of 3348 m, passing in serpentines through endless meadows in the south of the lake. The public also refers to the cross as "33 Parrots". We will descend to the city of Naryn, where the longest river in Kyrgyzstan, Naryn, flows. At sunset, the Tien Shan mountain range will appear in all its glory.

Day 5 – Tosor gorge, Yssyk Kul lake, Tamga.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will continue along the impressive Ala-Too mountain range, crossing the Eki Naryn river and the Tosor gorge at an altitude of 4020 m. On the way, we will stop for lunch and see the glaciers and lakes covered with snow. Mountain peaks. Descent to the southern side of Issyk-Kul lake, Tamga district, to the foot of the lake.

Day 6 – Jeti-Oguz valley, Karakol

After breakfast, visit to the Jety-Ogyz valley on the southern shore of Issyk-Kol, the second largest alpine lake in the world. On the way visit Barskoon gorge. We pass through the gorge and reach a beautiful waterfall.Continue to the mountain called "Broken Heart" by the locals, the "Tseti Oguz" pass and climb the waterfall "Maiden's Braids". We will land in the city of Karakol, make a city tour, visit the Dungan mosque, which is a wonderful combination of Middle Eastern Islam with Chinese wooden architecture, visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral, have dinner. See a local Uyghur family and a local folk troupe playing traditional musical instruments.

Day 7 – Altyn Arashan hot springs, Cholpon-Ata

During the day, he was driving a Soviet car towards the Altyn-Arashan gorge. Climb up the canal to the hot mineral springs for a scenic swimming route. We will have lunch at the hotel on the Altyn Arashan pass. We will also visit the hot mineral springs and the Ak Suu Kench pool on the Altyn Arashan road and continue along the northern shore of the lake to Cholpon-Ata.

Day 8 Petroglyphs open sky museum, Bishkek

After breakfast, we will visit the open-air petroglyph museum in Cholpon-Ata. There are many amazing prehistoric rock paintings and ancient temples of the Scythians and Huns. From here they set off on a journey to explore the vast expanses of Asia. Then we will go to the cultural center "Rukh-Ordo", where the guides will organize an interesting tour full of historical data and legends. In the evening, arrival in Bishkek for a festive dinner at a national restaurant.

Day 9 Transfer to Airport

The end of Jeep tour Kyrgyzstan. Flight home having gained wonderful and lasting impressions from what you have seen and experienced.
