Karakol Ski & Spa Tour – 3 Days

Day 1: Bishkek → Ysyk-Kul → Fairy Tale Canyon

09:00 – After pickup from your hotel in Bishkek, we will depart for Karakol. On the way, we will visit Kyzyl-Tuu village, where a local family will welcome us for lunch. Here, you will have the chance to taste traditional Kyrgyz Oromo and participate in building a nomadic yurt. Kyzyl-Tuu is renowned for its cultural heritage, including yurt-making, felt crafts, and musical instruments.

Continuing towards Karakol Ski Resort, we will stop at the legendary Skazka Valley on the south shore of Lake Ysyk-Kul, famous for its dramatic rock formations. In the evening, we will reach Karakol Ski Resort.

Day 2: Karakol Ski Resort & Local Dungan Lifestyle

Morning free for skiing and leisure at Karakol Ski Resort. Lunch will be served at our guesthouse.

In the afternoon, we will explore Karakol city, including visits to the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Dungan Mosque. Next, we will relax at the Ak-Suu Kench Hot Springs and enjoy swimming in the outdoor pools.

In the evening, we will have dinner with a local Dungan family. Upon request, a traditional folklore band, “Kylym,” can perform during the dinner.

Day 3: Karakol → Bishkek via Cholpon-Ata & Burana Tower

We will return to Bishkek along the north shore of Lake Ysyk-Kul. On the way, we will visit the open-air Petroglyphs Museum in Cholpon-Ata.

Lunch will be at a famous local restaurant, Apamdyn Kattamasy, in Kemin, where you can try traditional cultural bread served with sour cream. We will also visit the historic Burana Tower in Tokmok before arriving in Bishkek. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
