Karakol Ski Spa Tour, 3 Days

The snow blends perfectly with the magnificent mountain landscape of Kyrgyzstan, creating a magical and powerful winter scenery. The Karakol Ski Spa Tour offers three days of skiing and snowboarding at an altitude of 3,040 meters, along with a tour of the central region of Kyrgyzstan, including the city of Karakol and its surroundings.

JUST DO IT!

Day 1: Tradition and Nature Combined

09:00 – Pick-up from the hotel, followed by departure from Bishkek to Karakol. Enjoy the hospitality of a local family, taste Kyrgyz-style Oromo for lunch, and participate in building a traditional nomadic yurt with locals in the village of Kyzyl-Tuu (famous for its culture, artisans, hostels, felt products, and musical instruments).

On the way to Karakol Ski Resort, we will visit the legendary Skazka Valley on the southern shore of Issyk-Kol Lake. In the evening, we will arrive at the ski resort in Karakol.

Day 2: Karakol Ski Resort and Local Dungan Lifestyle

Enjoy free time at Karakol Ski Resort until lunchtime. After lunch at the guesthouse, we will drive to Karakol city for a city tour. During the tour, we will visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Dungan Mosque.

Afterward, we will proceed to Ak-Suu Kench Hot Springs, where you can relax in outdoor hot spring pools. In the evening, return to Karakol for dinner with a local Dungan family.

Upon request, we can arrange a performance by the local cultural music band “Kylym” for a traditional folklore show during dinner.

Day 3: Museums and Kyrgyz Cuisine

We will continue our journey along the northern shore of Issyk-Kol towards Bishkek. On the way, in Cholpon-Ata, we will visit the Petroglyphs Open-Air Museum.

Lunch will be at the local Kemin restaurant “Apamnym Kattamasa,” where you will taste traditional bread with sour cream. Then, we will visit the Burana Tower in the city of Tokmok.

Upon arrival in Bishkek, we will transfer you to your hotel.
