Mountain lakes of Kyrgyzstan: Son-Kul & Issyk-Kul

Itinerary:

Day 1: Bishkek.

Arrival in Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel. City tour. Overnight at the hotel in Bishkek.

Day 2: Sonkul Lake.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Son-Kul Lake (360 km ). Lunch in Kochkor village on the way. Arriving in Son-Kul in the afternoon. This is a remote mountain lake situated on a treeless, high mountain plateau ( 3016 m )

Day 3: Issyk-Kul Lake.

Breakfast. Drive to Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way is an excursion in the open-air art gallery of stone, said to date from 500 BC – 100 AD, which depicts wolves, long-horned ibex, goats, horses, snow leopards, sacrifices, and some hunting scenes.

Arrival at the north shore of Issyk-Kul. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Issyk-Kul Lake – Bishkek.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bishkek. On the way, stop to see Burana Tower, which is left from the ancient city of Balasagyn (XI - XIII). Transfer to the airport, departure.

- Accommodation in any Yurt Inn is usually for 5-6 persons of the same gender in a yurt; however, if the Yurt Inn is not full by the time of the group's arrival, twin occupancy may be arranged without an extra fee

- Weather in the mountain areas of Kyrgyzstan is cold even in summer (night temperature in the mountains can be up to -1 °C -2 °C), therefore it is recommended to have warm jackets and raincoats

- 3* hotel accommodation in Bishkek can be replaced by 4* or 5* hotel at an extra fee

- Trip itinerary and service can be changed by request.
