Bishkek – Issyk-Kul Lake – Kochkor village – Son-Kul Lake – Tash-Rabat – Bishkek
Day 1: Bishkek
Early morning arrival to Bishkek. Transfer to the hotel, and rest. City tour: the Art Museum and the History Museum, visit to Ala-Too Square, Victory Square, etc. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: Issyk-Kul
Bishkek – Cholpon-Ata (260 km). After breakfast drive to Cholpon-Ata town, located on the north side of the lake Issyk Kul via Burana Tower (from the XI-th century). As an option visit Tamchi village on the way, and book a show in the homestay. Check-in at the hotel. There is a possibility to swim in the lake on this day. Accommodation and dinner in the hotel on the beach of the lake.
Day 3: Kochkor
Cholpon-Ata – Kochkor village (135 km). After breakfast excursion to petroglyphs near Cholpon-Ata town (an open-air collection of stones with ancient inscriptions) and drive to Kochkor village. After lunch in Kochkor visit the local museum and see the making of the Kyrgyz national carpet "Shyrdak". Accommodation at CBT homestay. Dinner.
Day 4: Son-Kul Lake
Kochkor village – Son-Kul Lake (120 km). Breakfast. Morning drive to Son-Kul Lake. This is a step into the nomadic life at the Song-Kul Lake. Here, the Kyrgyz people still live in traditional simplicity. Spend one night in the summer pastures of the mountains in Kyrgyz yurt. Free time after lunch: horseback riding or just hiking, spend time with always friendly Kyrgyz families, and taste their fresh airan (yogurt) and kymys (a fermented national drink from mare's milk). Dinner and overnight in yurt camp.
Day 5: Tash-Rabat
Son-Kul Lake - Tash-Rabat (260 km). After breakfast, drive to Tash-Rabat via Naryn. Tash Rabat (ca 3.500 m a.s.l.) is situated in the picturesque Kara Koyjun canyon (‘Black Rabbit’), close to the Chinese border; it has been an important stopover for the caravans along the Great Silk Road between the Far East and Europe. Free program: bird watching, and hiking in the area. As options in Tash-Rabat: horseback riding. Accommodation at Yurt Inn. Dinner.
Day 6: Bishkek
Tash-Rabat – Bishkek (470 km). Breakfast in the yurt camp. Long transfer to Bishkek. Lunch in en-route cafe. Check-in in the hotel of Bishkek. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Early transfer to the airport (about midnight, 40 km) and departure.

Notes:
Yurt Inns in the area of Son-Kul Lake and Tash-Rabat operate from early July till early September
Accommodation in any Yurt Inn is usually 4-5 persons of the same gender in a yurt, however, if the Yurt Inn is not fully booked by the time of the group arrival, double occupancy may be arranged without an extra fee
Weather in the area of Son-Kul Lake, Tash-Rabat, and other mountain areas of Kyrgyz Republic is quite cold at night, and it is highly recommended to have warm clothes and a raincoat.
