Tien Shan Mountains: Suusamyr Valley, Arslanbob

The Suusamyr mountain basin is located between two mountain ranges: the Kyrgyz Range from the north and Suusamyr-Too from the south. The height of the valley is 2200-2600m with peaks up to 4500m. The uniqueness of the area lies in the huge selection of trails with different exposure, length, and elevation difference (up to 1200 m).

Arslanbob is located in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan, at the foot of Mount Babash-Ata (4427 m). Babash-Ata is one of the highest mountains in the Ferghana Range. The Fergana Range occupies the northern part of the Fergana Valley.

The climate in the region is sharply continental. Arslanbob is a small village located at an altitude of 1700 m above sea level. Arslanbob valley is famous for its unique walnut forests and abundant fruit trees. The village is the starting point for horseback riding and skiing.

Program Scheme

Day 1. Arrival Bishkek

Early in the morning arrive in Bishkek. Transfer to the Suusamyr valley (150 km - 3 hours on the way). Acclimatization, skiing from the nearest slopes.

Days 2-3. Ski Tourism

Ski touring from new slopes. Ski base. Breakfast lunch dinner

Day 4. Arslanbob

After breakfast transfer to Arslanbob (430 km - 8 hours drive on a mountain road). Homestay. Breakfast, Dinner

Days 5-8. Ski Tourism

Ski touring from new slopes. As an option, a two-day ski tour in remote areas with accommodation in a mountain hut. Delivery of personal equipment to the area of ​​ski touring on horseback. Homestay. Breakfast lunch dinner

Day 9. Osh

Transfer to Osh after breakfast (135 km – 3 hours). Guest house. Breakfast

Day 10. Departure

Early in the morning transfer to the airport for departure. Breakfast
